Visiting a clairvoyant, Tarot card reader or psychic is something that appeals to many of us. But like many other aspects of life there are good ones not so good ones ones and, in some cases absolutely awful ones!

Getting a recommendation from a trusted friend or relative is a good way to find a compitent clairvoyant or psychic, although this is not always very practical.

Most practitioners these days have websites and should be happy to provide you with testimonials or contact details of clients.
The checklist below should be of assistance when looking for a suitable practitioner.

A competent and genuine psychic will have a sensitive and compassionate manner. The information they convey will be honest and to the point without demoralizing a client. Something you would normally see as a negative event should be presented by the psychic as an obstacle and the psychis should look to his guides for direction with finding a positive and practical solution.

• Michael Francois believes that a good psychic practitioner does not use  nonsensical or confusing language . If they are genuine they will be clear and to the point.
• A good psychic will not ask hundreds of questions in order to extract information from the client. You should be open and honest with your psychic so as not to obstruct the reading but at the same time it is important that your reader channels through independantly.
• Your psychic should not try to confuse or bamboozle you or avoid answering your questions by blabbering out extraneous information or talking about their own personal problems. You should still communicate with them. It is right to provide the psychic with some information such as your first name, your date and time of birth. Quite often this much information enables the psychic to draw your horoscope and come out with answers about your personality traits and therefore predict your future.
• A competent psychic will give honest answers NOT just tell you what you want to hear.
• A good psychic will not get bogged down in small insignificant details, but instead outline important information to clients. Of course if a seemingly insignificant matter is going to have a significant impact on your future then it is only right that they should mention it!
• A proficient psychic will make their client feel at ease and comfortable especially when discussing issues that may be of great sensitivity to the client.
• The client should be able to trust the psychic so it is imperative that the reader shows that he or she  is worthy of that trust.
